A quick video showing how I use throw-away plastic bits as molds for plaster to make small scale buildings for games like Battletech and CAV.

Cool video Brian!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely gunna be stealing that McDonald's vent idea too, even though I can't remember the last time I went into a McD's I'll be visiting one just for a drink :)
Just a quick question, how'd you do the logo's on them? Like the rifle logo?
They really look cool Brian :)
Thanks! The decals are made with clear decal paper for ink-jet printers. I print them out of Illustrator so I can print 100% black, 100% cyan, and 50% magenta which makes them much darker. Or you can just let the first layer dry and then run it through again but sometimes that causes mis-alignment.
ReplyDeleteI've got a sheet of that decal paper, but for a laser printer. I've had it for years, but I'm just super scared to use it, afraid that I'll stuff it up good & proper. I should give it a go though, otherwise what was the point of buying right?
DeleteThanks Brian :)
